**Last Updated:** March 15, 2026

Volodymyr Dudchak, Private Entrepreneur ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Well Tracker mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the App.

By using Well Tracker, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

## 1. Information We Collect

### 1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and any profile details you choose to provide.

### 1.2 Health and Wellness Data

The App collects health and wellness information that you provide or authorize, including:

- **Apple Health Data:** With your explicit permission, the App reads health metrics from Apple Health (HealthKit), such as step count, heart rate, sleep data, and other available metrics. We only access the specific data categories you authorize.
- **User Check-Ins:** Information you manually enter, such as mood, energy levels, and other self-reported wellness indicators.

### 1.3 Device and Usage Information

We may automatically collect certain technical information, including device type, operating system version, app version, language settings, and general usage patterns (e.g., feature usage frequency, session duration).

### 1.4 Analytics Data

We use Amplitude, a third-party analytics platform, to collect anonymized usage and behavioral data such as feature interactions, session frequency, and engagement patterns. This data helps us understand how users interact with the App so we can improve its features and user experience. Amplitude does not receive any personally identifiable health data.

### 1.5 Crash and Performance Data

We use Sentry, a third-party error tracking service, to collect crash reports, error logs, and performance data. This information helps us identify and fix bugs and improve the App's stability. Sentry may receive technical data such as device type, operating system version, app state at the time of an error, and stack traces. No personal health or check-in data is included in crash reports.

---

## 2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

- Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features and functionality.
- Display your health and wellness trends, insights, and summaries within the App.
- Personalize your experience based on your check-in data and health metrics.
- Send you notifications or reminders you have opted into.
- Analyze aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the App (via Amplitude).
- Process fully anonymized wellness data through third-party AI services (such as those provided by OpenAI or Anthropic) to generate insights and analyses of your well-being trends over time.
- Respond to your support requests and communications.

---

## 3. Apple Health (HealthKit) Data

We treat data obtained through Apple HealthKit with special care in accordance with Apple's guidelines:

- HealthKit data is **not** used for advertising or marketing purposes.
- HealthKit data is **not** sold to third parties, including data brokers.
- HealthKit data is **not** shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required to provide core App functionality.
- HealthKit data is **not** used for purposes unrelated to health and wellness.
- We do **not** store HealthKit data in iCloud or any unsecured environment.

---

## 4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security measures. Health and wellness data is primarily stored locally on your device. If any data is transmitted to our servers, it is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

## 5. Third-Party Services

### 5.1 Amplitude (Analytics)

We use Amplitude to collect anonymized analytics data about how the App is used. This helps us make data-driven decisions to improve the App. Amplitude receives only non-identifiable usage data (e.g., feature engagement, session metrics) and does not have access to your health data, check-in content, or personal account information. You can learn more about Amplitude's data practices in their privacy policy at https://amplitude.com/privacy.

### 5.2 Sentry (Error Tracking)

We use Sentry to monitor the App's performance and track errors and crashes in real time. Sentry receives technical diagnostic data (such as stack traces, device model, OS version, and app state) but does not receive your personal health data, check-in content, or account information. You can learn more about Sentry's data practices in their privacy policy at https://sentry.io/privacy/.

### 5.3 AI-Powered Well-Being Analysis

The App may use third-party artificial intelligence services, such as those provided by OpenAI or Anthropic, to analyze well-being patterns and generate insights based on your check-in data. **All data sent to these services is fully anonymized** — it contains no personally identifiable information such as your name, email, device ID, or account details. The anonymized data is used solely to provide you with wellness trend analysis and personalized insights within the App.

These third-party AI providers process data in accordance with their own privacy and data handling policies. We select providers that offer appropriate data protection commitments, and we ensure that no data sent to them can be traced back to you as an individual.

---

## 6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do **not** sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

- **With your consent:** When you explicitly authorize sharing with a specific third party.
- **Service providers:** With trusted service providers who assist us in operating the App (e.g., hosting, Amplitude for analytics, Sentry for error tracking, OpenAI or Anthropic for AI-powered analysis), bound by confidentiality obligations and receiving only the minimum data necessary to perform their function.
- **Legal requirements:** When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- **Safety:** To protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

---

## 7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

- **Access** the personal data we hold about you.
- **Correct** inaccurate or incomplete data.
- **Delete** your personal data and account.
- **Withdraw consent** for data processing at any time.
- **Export** your data in a portable format.
- **Revoke HealthKit permissions** at any time through your device's Settings > Health > Data Access.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email provided below.

---

## 8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the App's services or as required by law. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by legal obligations.

---

## 9. Children's Privacy

Well Tracker is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

---

## 10. International Data Transfers

If you access the App from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred across borders. We take appropriate measures to ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

---

## 11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
